In Let's talk about prayer!
Tell readers what "prayer" means to you. Do you pray through the day, or do you save it for dedicated quiet time? Is praying out loud hard for you? Do you include scripture in your prayers? Do you prefer to be at a desk or in a cozy chair, or on the floor when you are meeting with God? Do you play music, or write as you pray, or pray over names in lists you keep? Many women long to have a regular, daily, focused prayer time, but they need some ideas to help them get started. Your reply could be their "That's IT!"

In Let's talk about prayer!
Do you have a dedicated space where you meet with God, petition Him for your needs and talk to Him about people and situations that are close to your heart? What's in the space? Share some tips and a picture or two to inspire others.

In Answered Prayers!
In a paragraph or two, tell how God answered your heartfelt prayer for your own life, or for a friend or loved one. Did it change how you look at prayer? Do you pray more, or differently, as a result of how God moved? Few things are more encouraging for a struggling Christian than testimonies of God's answers to prayer! Yours may make all the difference for someone who feels like giving up. Inspire us!

In Prayer Requests
Prayer is a calling. It is spiritual warfare. It is standing beside someone and agreeing with them in their pleas to the Father. It is a privilege, and it is not for the faint-hearted! Will you approach the Throne for these women? A prayer request may resonate with you strongly based on a personal experience. This is a definite "flag" for you to pray for this person. Corrie Ten Boom once wrote, "Every experience God gives us, every person He places in our lives, is the perfect preparation for the future only He can see." Perhaps God allowed that experience in your life so that you could pray with empathy for someone who's in a situation like yours. THAT is what they need to know. That you were there, and God heard your prayers, and He brought you through. Check in often for new prayer needs that will be posted in this thread. If you will pray for a need, acknowledge with a simple comment. Please don't comment that you'll pray if you are not likely to follow through. Then, sisters: PRAY!

In Prayer Requests
Welcome to JourneyWords' Prayer Request thread. It's an honor to receive your request for our praying JourneyWords followers to lift to the Lord. Here are a few precious reminders for you: God presses into your prayers: He leans all the way down to you in your valleys to hear you. "As long as I live I’ll keep praying to him, for he stoops down to listen to my heart’s cry." ~ Psalm 116:2 TPT God is compassionate to your pain. He doesn't miss or dismiss even a fragment of it. "You’ve kept track of all my wandering and my weeping. You’ve stored my many tears in your bottle — not one will be lost. For they are all recorded in your book of remembrance." ~ Psalm 56:8 TPT Your prayer is not too much to ask. "For with God, nothing shall be impossible." ~ Luke 1:37 “Nothing lies beyond the reach of prayer except that which lies outside the will of God.” ~ Phillips Brooks Praying for others is a privilege. Allow us the privilege of lifting your prayer needs to the One Who loves you beyond measure. "Pray much for others; plead for God’s mercy upon them; give thanks for all he is going to do for them." ~ I Timothy 2:1
